About VenueCOI

VenueCOI collects and checks vendor certificates of insurance for US wedding and event venues. Venues send each vendor — caterers, bartenders, DJs, florists, photographers, rental companies — an upload link. Our AI reads the certificate, checks limits, dates, additional insured wording and liquor liability against the venue's requirements, tells the vendor exactly what to fix, and sends reminders until it's right.

Why VenueCOI exists

Most venues publish strict vendor insurance rules, then chase every certificate by hand — digging through email for PDFs, reading fine print line by line, and discovering problems the week of the event. If an uninsured vendor causes a claim, it can land on the venue's policy. VenueCOI was built to make that whole process automatic, so venues can require proper coverage without the paperwork.

Who built it

VenueCOI was founded by Sikander Mushtaq. He works directly with the first venues on the platform and is closely involved in how certificates are checked.
